To search national synergisms concerning scientific research: an good example is the PEERS – Platform for Enhancing Ecological Research & Sustainability, a consortium between my research group (Azorean Biodiversity Group) with the Center of Environmental Biology (University of Lisbon, Portugal) and Center of Functional ecology (University of Coimbra, Portugal).
