Vision of the Ministry of Public Housing, Spatial Development, Environment and Infrastructure is the realization of an optimal living, working and recreational environment for the citizens and visitors of St. Maarten.
My tasks consist of the coordination of sustainable energy, nature and environmental topics and projects; to draw up Energy, Nature and Environmental policy plans; ensuring and promoting sustainability, and to respresent the Ministry on renewable energy, nature & environment matters nationally and internationally. I am also responsible for preparation of policy and legislation and the supervision of the execution thereof, with an emphasis on sustainable energy, climate change and biodiversity.

Involved in several projects for UNESCO, UNDP, UNEP, OCTA, SIDS, EU, Netherlands Antilles, UN's Sustainable development Goals.
