Dr. Ned Dwyer Executive-Director of EurOcean since January 2015 manages the EurOcean Centre including project and financial management, definition and implementation of work plans and the coordination of EurOcean’s participation in H2020 projects. Prior to EurOcean, previously working since 2002 at the Coastal and Marine Research Centre of University College Cork, Ireland as team leader of the Applied Remote Sensing and GIS group and from 2010 as the Centre´s Deputy Director.
Dr. Dwyer has many years of experience in marine data and information management and was the project manager of the Marine Irish Digital Atlas development. He was co-chair of the IOC/IODE International Coastal Atlas Network (ICAN) Project from 2008 to 2014 and is still actively involved in its Steering Group.
