The WBCSD’s Business Ecosystems Training (BET) course is a freely-available capacity building program to increase the knowledge and understanding of the links between ecosystems and business. BET is, in principle, a linear training program, i.e. the audience needs to follow each module one after the other. However, the modules are developed in such a way to allow them to be used individually if necessary.
BET is split into the following four modules:
Module 1: Understanding the links between ecosystems and business.
Module 2: Assessing business impacts and dependencies on ecosystems.
Module 3: An introduction to valuing ecosystem services.
Module 4: Managing and mitigating business impacts on ecosystems.
