My team is involved in the inventory of sponges in the Pacific (Prensently POMARE in French Polynessia), and the study of their secondary metabolites either as chemtaxonomic markers or chemical defenses. We try to assess the biological properties of isolated compounds to a possible rôle in the environment and apply the findings in ecosystemic services, specially in aquaculture and environment friendly activities.
