Thesis title: ‘Sampling and analysis of zooplankton obtained in the Atlantic Ocean around Canary Islands’
From February 2019 to March 2019, internship at the Oceanographic and Global Change Institute (IOCAG) - www.iocag.ulpgc.es - of University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. During the internship I learnt some laboratory techniques related to the study of zooplankton’s samples. Concretely, the main purpose of the activity was to obtain taxonomic data working with the imagines scans, and to study the metabolic features of plankton using the ETS technique.
From September 2018 to January 2019, Erasmus+ studying programme at University of La Laguna, Tenerife, Spain. I followed different courses focused on the floristic and faunistic features both marine and terrestrial of Canary Islands (in particular, “Marine Biology”, and “Flora and vegetation of Canarias”).
